My To-Do List.

It's a dark and gloomy morning here in small town Missouri.  Strange sounds are coming from the refrigerator and a sudden gust of wind has startled the dogs.  My coffee cup sits empty, but I can't move.  I am paralyzed.  Paralyzed by fear

The fear of............................................................................My To-Do list.  {Dun Dun Dun Dun}

Okay.  It's not really that bad.  I just need to completely clean and decorate my house, prep three weeks of my summer course, plan meaningful birthday treats for C, buy groceries, clean out my car, clean out the garage, finish gifts, grade 40 papers, compute midterm grades, work out, color my hair, give myself a pedicure, mow the yard, pack for a trip, send a long over-due email, call a friend, pay bills, clean the oven...

It's going to be a busy week, no doubt about it.
I am exhausted just thinking about it.

But, as J's sweet Grandpa used to say:  "Nothing to it, but to do it."

So off I go!  Have a great Monday...

  1. Oh, those to do lists....
    I have stopped letting them intimidate me but they do seem to hang over my head as a dark cloud.
    Now I prioritize and decide what doesn't really HAVE to be done....or finished or whatever. I am much happier but have a collection of dust bunnies....lol

  2. Oh Tricia, this made me laugh out loud. How in the world am I going to do it all, I say that about a dozen times a day. Our lists are so similar, it is too funny. Good luck! xo,

  3. Ditto over here. I do find that if I make a list and can start checking things off I feel better about doing the things. I'm weird.
